Our Budget Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Our Budget handles information when you use the household budgeting application.

1. Information you enter

Our Budget may process the income, expenses, budget categories, allocations, savings goals, and other financial details you choose to enter. Treat this as sensitive personal information and enter only what you need for your budgeting workflow.

2. Account and cloud storage

The website uses Supabase-backed services for account access and budget data. Information associated with your account may be stored and synchronized through those services so the budget can be accessed by authorized users. Do not share your household passcode with people you do not want to have access.

3. Optional Google integrations

If you choose to connect Google services and those integrations are enabled, Our Budget may use the permissions displayed during Google authorization to support Google sign-in and the Google features you request. Depending on the enabled integration, this can include sending or managing Gmail messages, creating or managing Calendar events, and creating or working with files you select or create in Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Google account details used for sign-in may include your name and email address. The actual information accessible is limited by the scopes configured for the OAuth client and the permissions you grant; Our Budget cannot access Google data for a service that is not enabled and authorized.

4. Google data use and storage

Google data is used only to provide the connected feature you choose, not sold or used for advertising, and not used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Google data may be processed by Google and the hosting, authentication, database, and other providers necessary to run the feature. Information you choose to save in Our Budget may be retained to provide the saved feature, maintain service security, or meet legal obligations. The exact data stored and retention period depend on the feature's implementation and settings; do not assume that disconnecting Google deletes information already saved in Our Budget.

5. Disconnecting Google and deletion requests

You can revoke Our Budget's Google access in your Google Account's third-party connections/security settings. Revocation stops future access using that authorization but does not necessarily delete previously saved data. Contact atencio-support@googlegroups.com to request deletion of Google-derived information retained by Our Budget. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited information where required or permitted by law.

6. How information is used

Information is used to display and maintain your budget, calculate totals and projections, show reports and history, synchronize supported data, and maintain service security and reliability.

7. Sharing and service providers

Data may be processed by infrastructure and service providers needed to operate the application. This page does not imply that financial information is sold or used for advertising.

8. Retention, security, and choices

Data may remain in your account or cloud storage until it is deleted through available product controls or otherwise handled under applicable service processes. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid entering bank login credentials or payment-card details unless a feature explicitly requests them and you have reviewed its terms.
