CJ Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This policy describes the categories of information CJ may handle, the reasons it is processed, and the choices available to you when using CJ, an AI assistant from Smart Atencios.

1. Google Workspace data and Limited Use

CJ accesses Google account identity and authorized Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides information only to deliver Google-connected functionality that a user requests within CJ. For example, CJ can read a selected document to answer the user's question, edit a file on request, or work with an authorized email or calendar event. Content relevant to a user-requested AI operation may be sent to the AI-processing provider solely to return the requested answer or perform that operation. CJ does not use Google user data for unrelated analytics, advertising, data brokerage, credit decisions, or training generalized, non-personalized AI or machine-learning models. Google user data is not disclosed to unrelated third parties. Authorized service providers may process only the information necessary to provide CJ's functionality, with user consent where required; other permitted disclosures are limited to security needs, legal requirements, or a business transfer with the user's explicit prior consent. CJ follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. To revoke access, visit Google Account's third-party connections. To request deletion of information saved in CJ, contact Smart Atencios support.

2. Who operates CJ

CJ is an AI assistant published by Smart Atencios and available at smartatencios.com. This policy explains information handled when you visit CJ's public pages or use CJ features. Some features may be unavailable or require sign-in. This policy should be read together with any notices shown when you enable a specific integration.

3. Information you provide

When you use CJ, information you choose to submit may include prompts, questions, conversation messages, text, files or other content supplied to a feature, feedback, and support requests. Avoid submitting passwords, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, confidential business information, or other sensitive information unless a feature specifically requires it and you are comfortable with the processing.

4. Account and sign-in information

If you create an account or sign in, CJ's supporting authentication services may process identifiers such as your email address, account ID, authentication tokens, and sign-in status. If you choose a third-party sign-in option such as Google, that provider processes the sign-in request under its own privacy policy. CJ receives only the identity information returned through the configured sign-in flow and needed to establish your session; CJ does not receive your Google password.

5. Technical and usage information

When you load the site or use the app, hosting and security systems may receive technical data such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, requested URL, timestamps, referrer, error details, and basic request logs. The site includes Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights components, which may process website usage and performance measurements according to their configuration and Vercel's privacy documentation. Browser storage is used by the app to maintain local sign-in session information; clearing browser storage may sign you out.

6. How CJ uses information

Information is used to authenticate you, deliver the feature you request, process prompts and content to produce responses, maintain conversation or workspace state where supported, remember relevant settings, provide support, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, secure the service, and improve reliability. CJ should not use your content for a purpose materially different from the one described here without an applicable notice or other lawful basis.

7. AI processing and third-party providers

When you ask CJ to analyze content, the content relevant to that request may be sent to an AI-processing provider to produce the requested response or edit. If that content comes from a connected Google account, its use and any transfer are restricted to performing the user-facing feature you requested, subject to Google's Limited Use requirements. Google user data must not be used for unrelated AI model training, advertising, or other unrelated purposes. Non-Google information provided directly to CJ may be subject to different feature-specific disclosures; such disclosures do not expand the permitted uses of Google API data.

8. Storage, retention, and deletion

Authentication and service records may be held by the systems that operate CJ. Information kept in browser storage remains in that browser profile until it is cleared or replaced. Information stored by CJ or a service provider may be retained for as long as needed to provide the feature, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce applicable terms. Actual retention depends on the feature and provider configuration; this policy does not promise a fixed deletion period. To request help with account-related information, contact support using the address below.

9. When information may be shared

CJ may share information with infrastructure, authentication, database or AI-processing service providers when necessary to operate the features you use. Google API data is subject to stricter Limited Use rules: disclosures must be necessary to provide or improve user-facing functionality with the user's consent, for security, to comply with law, or as part of a business transfer only after the user's explicit prior consent. Google user data is not shared for advertising, profiling, data brokerage or unrelated purposes. Any broader disclosure described elsewhere in this policy does not override these Google-specific restrictions.

10. Security

Access controls, authenticated requests, and service-provider safeguards may be used to protect information. No website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your device and account credentials secure, sign out on shared devices, and do not share authentication links or tokens.

11. Your choices and rights

You can choose what content to submit, avoid optional features, and decline third-party sign-in or integrations where alternatives are available. You can clear local browser storage to remove locally stored session information, although that does not delete information already held by a server or provider. Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Contact us to ask about a request; we may need to verify your identity before acting.

12. Children

CJ is not intended for children who are not permitted to use the service under applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can review the concern.

13. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when CJ's features, providers, or legal requirements change. The date shown at the top indicates the latest stated update. Material changes will be reflected on this page where appropriate; continued use after an update is subject to applicable law.
